Edward Becker, CPA

Ed Becker

With over 40 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and more than 30 years specializing in outsourced accounting solutions, Ed brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to SAME Accounting Group. His extensive background includes delivering comprehensive bookkeeping, financial reporting, and controller-level services to businesses across a wide range of industries. Ed is committed to helping clients streamline operations, maintain financial accuracy, and achieve long-term growth. His decades of hands-on expertise make him a trusted advisor to companies seeking reliable and scalable accounting support.

Prior to founding SAME, Ed was the Founder and Managing Partner of Outsource Your Books, LLC (OSYB), a pioneering firm in the outsourced accounting space before selling his practice to a top twenty CPA firm in 2023.

Ed is a licensed certified public accountant in New York and is a member in the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ed is a Bryant University graduate where he earned his B.S. in Accounting and subsequently completed a national program for his Associates in Risk Management degree.

Confidentiality is very important to SAME and your records are kept in secure facilities at all times.

Each staff member participates in ongoing seminars and training to keep up to date with the latest procedures and bookkeeping software. SAME staff is comprised of CPA’s, controllers, and bookkeepers — all with many years of experience. Our staff is screened, tested, and trained to ensure that each member of our team meets the standards we have established as a firm.  As a member of QuickBooks Professional Advisor’s Program, our staff of QuickBooks certified consultants receives the latest QuickBooks software training. We thoroughly learn and master each and every enhancement as it comes along.
